More details from petition creator

Due to the difficulties crossing the road in busy traffic, especially for parents with young children walking to Oldfield School, we insist on action being taken to create a pedestrian crossing on Forlease Road between York Road and Langdale Close. This is within close proximity of a Primary School and is used by many children daily. They have to cross as there is no pavement on the Langdale Close side under the railway bridge. The level of traffic using the Forlease Road has increased significantly since Stafferton Link opened and we believe this has created increase risk for pedestrians of all ages.
