Lowbrook have been working in partnership with the local authority to expand the school to be able to admit 60 children in September 2017. This is Desperately needed to meet the catchment demand.

Despite every effort, at this stage we are unable to proceed with Phase II of the Lowbrook Academy Expansion due to a considerable shortfall of funding, approximately £750,000 which was withdrawn by RBWM three months before the expansion was due to start.

In conjunction with the Local Authority, an expansion scheme was put together, worked upon and progressed to the planning phases. However, the initial funding of £1.6 million unfortunately, as predicted, fell well below the amount required to deliver the agreed scheme.

Now this process has been through the Council we call on a fresh debate, based on new information so that the School can put a future case forward based on new evidence and fact. This is to ensure that the School can seek future funding this September from new funds made available. This is a NEW PROCESS.
